    Irishman John Dineen, a financial PR, started dating the Downton Abbey star in after being introduced by a friend and she was said to be planning her "dream wedding".

    Michelle, also 34, was reported to have been wearing a ring earlier this year after John popped the question, although their engagement was never confirmed.

    According to reports, he passed away at Cork's Marymount Hospital in Ireland after an illness - which is believed to have been a rare form of cancer.
