    You’ll be seeing a lot of Clare Balding over the next two weeks as the popular presenter fronts the BBC’s Olympic coverage. The popular presenter, fresh from hosting Wimbledon, has now decamped to Paris for the festival of sport.

    Balding, 53, has become a mainstay of the BBC’s sports coverage, hosting a variety of events over the years and reporting on every Olympics since Atlanta in 1996. She is also a regular presence on the Sports Personality of the Year show.

    Away from sport, Balding has also presented the Lord Mayor’s Show, Trooping the Colour and much-loved dog show Crufts. She lives in Chiswick, west London with her journalist wife Alice Arnold, whom she married in 2015.
