A British actress has revealed that she was abused by Jeffrey Epstein for more than seven years.

Anouska de Georgiou, who went to school with the Duchess of Cambridge, said she met the late paedophile when she was a teenager.

At a hearing into his crimes in New York, Ms de Georgiou said the millionaire had manipulated and sexually abused her along with a string of other young women.

Now 42, she recalled: ‘When I was introduced to Jeffrey Epstein, I was young and full of hope and the foolishness of a teenager. I was idealistic and I saw the good in people.’

She added that the abuse ‘lasted several years’ and that it ‘affected my ability to form and maintain healthy relationships, both in work and my personal life’.

She did not reveal how she met Epstein or where the abuse took place.
